Sally has over 30 years experience in town planning, the majority of which has been in the private sector as an Associate with The JTS Partnership (formerly John Trott & Son).
She has provided planning advice for a wide range of clients including J Sainsbury, Commonwealth Institute, British Red Cross, Marsh, Leicester University and Mitchells & Butler (formerly Bass).
Sally offers advice in respect of all town and country planning matters ranging from initial site assessments through to planning applications and appeals. She prepares detailed statements in support of development proposals as well as Design and Access Statements which are required to accompany most types of applications. Sally also addresses Planning Committee meetings on behalf of clients and undertakes negotiations with officers of the Council, including Section 106 obligations. Where appropriate, she acts on behalf of third parties in respect of development proposals.
Sally has given evidence at many appeal hearings and local inquiries as well as pursuing proposals through the written representation procedure. She also monitors planning policy on behalf of clients and pursues objections through the Local Development Framework where necessary.
In larger projects where a professional team is engaged Sally plays a leading role and is committed to achieving the optimum result for the client with the minimum of fuss.
